- Cubist painting done by Boston painter Jido S. Fujita aka Sadamitsu Fujita who did some of his best work during the height of the cubist movement. The artist exhibited at the Salons of America in 1929 and 1930, the Society of Independent Artists in 1928, 1929 and 1931, the Art Institute of Chicago from 1921-1937 and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 1952. He lived in Boston and Philadelphia. Fujita is included in Who Was Who in American Art by Falk, the Artists Bluebook by Dunbier, and Mallett’s Index of Artists. His work is in the permanent collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Painting framed measures 29.5" wide, 1" deep and 34.5" high. Unframed it measures 18.75" wide, 23.75" high.
