About the Artist:
Mr Faralla was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was an alumnus of the San Francisco Art Institute where he also taught. His work was exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (1966), the Stanford University Museum, Whitney Museum of American Art. Richard Faralla started out as a painter and around 1959 turned to sculptures and reliefs assembled from scraps of wood gathered from construction sites.
